Vietnam's agricultural export turnover also reached a record high of 53.22 billion USD in 2022, up 9.3% over the previous year, showing the great potential of this market. Notably, in 2022, Vietnam's agricultural sector added three new products to the billion-dollar export turnover club, namely tuna, animal feed and fertilizer.

Challenges and Opportunities
Alongside the achievements, Asia's agricultural sector also faces many challenges such as climate change, urbanization and soaring food consumption demand in recent years. According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, from 2008 to 2018, Asia suffered losses of 207 billion USD in crops and livestock due to natural disasters. However, these challenges also create many opportunities for innovative businesses and supportive policies from the government to provide smart, sustainable agricultural solutions.
